A collaboration between Science North and AldrichPears Associates
The Nature Exchange, is a collaboration between Science North Enterprises and AldrichPears Associates to develop a franchise network of unique learning environmentsthat encourage children to collect and trade found natural items. In searchingfor things to collect and trade, individuals learn to observe, to askquestions, and to think independently. Nature Exchanges are placed in Zoos and Interpretive Centers throughout the US and Canada.
As the project manager I was responsible for leading my team in the development of the brand guidelines manual, a new web site concept and redesigning the exhibit components to enable a consistent and efficient rollout for each new franchise. We worked with each client institution and Science North to design the physical layout and the implementation of the brand for each installation. This included programming, space design, customization of some exhibit elements and installation with the clients fabricators.
